Exciting News from School Leader Lab

I am thrilled to share an overview of our impact to-date, as well as our focus for the future. Our vision at School Leader Lab is a DC region guided by school leaders who inspire students to grow and teachers to thrive.

Since our founding in 2017, we have partnered with more than 300 leaders and 115 schools, impacting 30,000 students. We’ve joined forces with organizations such as TNTP and Urban Teachers to expand our reach. We are excited to announce more partnerships and programs in the coming months.

We recently completed a planning process to develop a five-year strategic plan to continue our mission. Our commitment by 2027:

• Senior Leader Programming– In 2024 we will launch EdEx, our first c-level cohort offering. Our goal is to support black and brown senior leaders who will eventually take the top roles in DC region schools.

• Deepen our Impact– We are increasing our investment in DC with the goal of serving 75% of DC LEA’s and expanding our work to DCPS.

• Launch our Alumni Network- We are launching an alumni network with the goal of serving 500+ active alumni by 2024.
